Over 500 years ago, the coffee journey began in Yemen’s terraced mountains.
Our Name and How We Say It
Our name, Kafeena, is born from a beautiful fusion: the Arabic word “قهوتنا” and the English phrase “Our Coffee.” Though written in different scripts and spoken in different tongues, they mean exactly the same thing. Two sides of the same coin. Two voices telling one story.
“Qahwatna” (قهوتنا) is how we say it in Yemen; our coffee, our heritage. It’s the phrase whispered in the mountains of Haraz and Bura’a, where beans are still dried on rooftops, handpicked by families whose craft has passed through generations.
How We Speak to the World
“Try Our Coffee” is how we speak to the world. It’s a welcoming invitation to roasters, brewers, and drinkers everywhere to experience something authentic, something ancient, something personal.

We source directly from Yemen’s most iconic coffee regions. We aim to reconnect roasters and consumers to one of coffee’s most influential origins while ensuring fairness, transparency, and sustainability.
